Please note – three small areas of Newhaven Fort are currently not accessible to the public due to repairs and planning. All exhibitions are open as usual. Please ask a member of the team for more details.

From 1st October until 26th October the Eastern Magazine is closed for Halloween event preparation. The Caponier and stairs remain open.

Please note that young people under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are supervised and kept on a lead at all times. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the Tea Room.

Please note that online tickets cannot be purchased on the day of your visit, they must be purchased in advance.

* Gift Aid is a very simple idea from the taxman which enables Newhaven Fort to reclaim the tax paid on donations. Our Gift Aid entry prices include an optional 10% donation. Including this small amount and completing a Gift Aid declaration allows us to treat your whole entry fee as a donation and reclaim 25p for every £1 spent. That makes a huge difference towards the conservation and restoration of the Fort at no cost to you.

Season Tickets are valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase and allow unlimited entry to Newhaven Fort during normal seasonal opening hours. Season Tickets are not refundable or transferable.
