Our Fun at The Fort Instagram Competition begins on 1st September! Join in the fun whilst you’re here at the Fort for your chance to win a goody bag containing a selection of treats from our gift shop.
There are plenty of amazing opportunities for you to snap your prize-winning picture here at the Fort! Climb to the clifftop ramparts and play with the angles to photograph Newhaven’s coastline at its finest. Grab your friends and family and strike a pose for a fashion shoot with our dressing up boxes. Practice your best food photography in the 1940’s-inspired Tea Room to get that all too familiar Instagram food shot, before you explore the tunnels and descend the stairs of the Caponier for some atmospheric shots – perhaps you’ll capture one of our resident ghosts!
How to enter
It’s really simple! To enter just upload your photo to Instagram and use the hashtag #funatthefort2018. We’ll repost photos we like on Newhaven Fort’s Instagram page throughout the month so make sure you follow us to see if yours makes it on to our feed. The winners will be announced after the competition closing date, which is at midnight on 30th September 2018. We will direct message the winners via Instagram to notify them that they have won and share their images on our feed.

Terms and conditions and rules of entry
- Entry into the Newhaven Fort Instagram Photo Challenge is free.
- Photographs must be uploaded to #funaatthefort2018 to qualify.
- Multiple photo entries are allowed.
- The photo challenge closes at midnight on 30 September 2018. Photos uploaded after this date and time will not be considered.
- Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will not be accepted.
- There will be six competition winners.
- The winners will be chosen at random from all qualifying entries. Newhaven Fort’s decision is final. Correspondence will not be entered into.
- Winners will be notified by Instagram direct message.
- Winners must claim their prize by the 4 November 2018.
- The prize is a Newhaven Fort Goody Bag
- If the winner does not claim the prize by 4 November 2018, we reserve the right to offer the prize to another entrant or to re-offer the prize in a future draw.
- Prize is non-refundable and there are no cash alternatives. Newhaven Fort reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.
- To obtain names of the winners, send a stamped addressed envelope to Newhaven Fort, Instagram Competition prize draw, Fort Road, Newhaven. BN9 9DS
- Winners must be willing to participate in publicity if required.
- All entrants to the photo challenge will be deemed to have accepted the rules.
