Brewhaven – Beer Festival

Brewhaven – Beer Festival

Sussex Craft Beer in the atmospheric surroundings of Newhaven Fort

Date and time – Saturday 16 October 2021, 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Visit Lewes – the team behind the Sussex Gin & Fizz Festival – are pleased to announce BREWHAVEN, the first Sussex craft beer festival, in the atmospheric surroundings of Newhaven Fort.

To celebrate the fantastic and diverse craft beers made in our special part of the South East, we’re hosting 15 of the best – including Beak Brewery and Abyss – to showcase their products and sell directly to the public at this exciting new event. There’ll also be some great local food producers serving delicious treats to help soak it up.

There’ll be live music throughout the day courtesy of the fantastic Lewes Ripple, who are busy curating an excellent lineup of talent to bring to the party.

Our daytime session, from 1 – 5 pm, will be a laid back, family-friendly event with the Fort’s playground open to keep younger visitors entertained. The café will be serving soft drinks, ice cream, snacks and sandwiches, while the brewers present their wares under the cover of an amazing WWII Romney Hut.

At the over 18s only 6 – 10 pm session, we’ll crank up the festival atmosphere with even more fabulous craft beer, great food, music, sea shanties and DJs.

Ticket numbers are limited to ensure a safe and spacious experience for everyone, so get yours now!
