Travel Down Memory Lane with The Horsham Historics

Red vintage fire engines at Newhaven Fort

Newhaven Fort will again be hosting the Horsham Historics weekend, taking place on Saturday the 13th and Sunday 14th May.

Established in 1975 The Horsham Historics consist of an eclectic group of collectors whose primary interests include vintage transport and machinery. That said, the collection practises of the group has expanded over the years and Horsham Historic events now showcase a varied and fascinating group of objects including; veteran and classic cars and historic machinery, trains & railway memorabilia, tyres, tools, blowlamps, tins & boxes, posters, children's toys and household objects like irons, and mangles.

Exhibits will be housed in the Romney Hut and all the classic vehicles will be on display in the Parade ground.

Horsham Historics', Derek Pentecoste said:

"The collectors are always happy to talk to the public about their collections and displays, as well as giving demonstrations wherever possible."

The gates will open at 10.30 and, of course, Newhaven Fort's regular attractions will also be available to visitors, ensuring a great day out for all the family.
