Back by popular demand - Newhaven Fort will be hosting three captivating live jazz evenings, so come and join us for an energetic evening of 1940’s music and dance.  Also set to return are the ever popular Oddsocks Productions, who will be delighting audiences with another alternative Shakespearian production, 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream'. 

Newhaven Fort offers fun for the whole family with quiz trails, children’s workshops, face-painting, games and activities through the Easter and Halloween half terms. Meet living historians, enjoy guided tours and special displays during Newhaven Fort’s Festival of History extravaganza.

Rock the Fort, will be returning in 2010, with great performances from local bands raising money for local good causes.  New for 2010 – ‘I Am A Warehouse’ a remarkable performance from the multi-award winning Brighton Theatre to mark 60th anniversary of UNRWA. Theatre meets film in this moving drama of the burning of a Gaza warehouse.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Newhaven Fort will hold its annual commemorative day of 1940's nostalgia and remembrance on the 12th September.
