Welcome to Newhaven Fort’s events page, highlighting the special events taking place through 2012, listed month by month.

Back by popular demand - Newhaven Fort will be hosting two captivating live jazz nights, so come and join us for an energetic evening of 1940’s music and dance.  Also set to return are the ever popular Oddsocks Productions, who will be delighting audiences with another alternative Shakespearian production, Julius Caesar. 

Newhaven Fort offers fun for the whole family with quiz trails, children’s workshops, face-painting, games and activities through the Easter and Halloween holidays.  New for 2012 The Angel and the Fiend - The life of fashion model, photographer and surrealist muse,  Lee Miller, told through readings and illustrative works.

Take the chance to meet local community groups, enjoy guided tours and special displays during Fort Day in June.  Newhaven Fort will once again host the annual Battle of Britain Commemoration on 9th September, a special day of 1940's nostalgia and remembrance.

Please note that these events will be popular and some require separate tickets, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
