Easter Excitement at Newhaven Fort
Newhaven Fort is packed full of fun this Easter. If you’re looking to go somewhere that is sure to entertain the whole family, then look no further then Newhaven Fort.
For younger family members, the children’s Easter rabbit trail is taking place through 1st -18th April. Using the quiz sheets given on entry, children will be guided to specific areas in the Fort to hunt, find and count the hidden Easter bunnies to win a prize.
There are also a number of exciting Easter children’s workshops to enjoy. On Saturday 3rd April children can get creative in our craft workshops which include making Easter cards and decorating Easter eggs.*
Back by popular demand Zoolab will be returning on the 8th April with Rainforest Adventurer. Meet all manner of tropical creatures and creepy crawlies including snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, land snails, millipedes, stick insects and tree frogs.
On the 11th April the Sussex Motorcycle Club will be reliving the 1960’s era of Mods and Rockers with bike displays, music and entertainment throughout the day.
Of course, all of this is in addition to the many wonderful, permanent displays and interesting things to do at Newhaven Fort and, don’t forget, the fantastic on-site café serving yummy lunches and naughty treats, plus our pocket-money-priced gift shop.
Opening times are 10.30am - 6pm (last entry 5pm). Tickets for our Easter week are priced at the normal entry fee and can be purchased on the door.
