There will be a carnival atmosphere as the fun fair greets all visitors to the Fort with a variety of rides on offer.  Also entertaining visitors will be a special Christmas themed Punch and Judy show.

A traditional Christmas Grotto and nativity scene, organised by the Churches of Newhaven, will be at the Fort for the day and the Newhaven Marching Band will be performing their exciting display on the parade ground.
 
The Vivace Ditchling Choir, who recently appeared on Last Choir Standing, will also be making an appearance.  Their festive songs will surely get everyone in the Christmas spirit. 

In addition Grymm Tooms Victorian re-enactors will be delighting guests with historical marvels including natural history and optical displays.

Feeling creative?  Why not join one of our Christmas card workshops running throughout the day.  Hot food and drink will be also be available including festive mince pies and mulled wine.
