Newhaven Fort will be opening its doors this October half term to brave souls wishing to take part in all manner of ghastly and gruesome activities and events.

A spooky quiz trail will take Halloween adventurers through the old Fort's maze of haunted underground passages and echoing vaulted chambers. Tread cautiously on a quest to find the unwholesome gathering of creepy characters that lurk within the subterranean levels of the Fort.

New for 2008 – Why not join us for a traditional spooky magic lantern show which will be coming to the Fort on Wednesday 29th October at 14:00. (Over 5’s only adults welcome *)

For true Halloween fun create all manner of spooky and scary treats in our Halloween workshops on Thursday 30th October at 11:30, 13:30 and 15:00. *

For the really brave amongst you Zoolab will be returning to the Fort on Friday 31st October.  Shows will give visitors the opportunity to come face to face with a real snake, scorpion, tarantula, giant millipede, toad and even cockroaches!  Session times are 13:30 and 14:30 *.
