Newhaven Fort Day - Celebrating 2012

Come and celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and meet a number of community groups from Newhaven.  Musical entertainment will be provided by Newhaven Youth Marching Band and Maestro Academy Players.

Living History Weekend

Meet living historians and find out about military life in different eras from Napoleonic times to WWII.  Enjoy guided tours and get hands-on with some of the artefacts usually kept behind glass!

Saturday 30th June
Armed Forces Jazz Night

Enjoy an evening of live jazz in an atmospheric WWII setting with ‘The Full Complement’ jazz band. Come and dance the night away in your 1940s clothing (optional!) and celebrate the work of our Armed Forces. 19.30 – 22.30 (doors open 19.00)
Licensed bar serving a range of lagers, ales, wine, cider and snacks.
